Livin la Vida Siouxland

Nearly 15 months ago, I packed up all of my belongings and headed north to the Midwest for my first on-air TV job. Leaving my beloved friends, family and home state of Texas, I have come to experience a lot of new things in Siouxland. From unusually vocabulary ("pop" not "Coke," "crick" not "creek," etc.), to friendly farmers, to months of wicked winter weather, it has been an adventure to say the least. But now that I'm nearly halfway through my contract, my days here are numbered (450 days left to go?!). Was it worth leaving cowboys for corn? Frogs for farmers? Sun for snow? Depends on when you ask me. So while I'm stuck up here in Siouxland, let's keep in touch via blog. It's all the rage right now, so just do it!
